Apple has recently launched the App Store on the web, providing users a centralized platform to explore various app categories compatible with all Apple devices. This move, first reported by MacRumors and 9to5Mac, transforms apps.apple.com into an interactive interface, enhancing the browsing experience beyond mere informational content.
While users cannot directly download apps from the web version, they can conveniently share apps or seamlessly transition to the App Store on their respective devices for installation.
The revamped web App Store enables users to navigate through app listings tailored for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Vision Pro, Apple Watch, and Apple TV. Moreover, users can access curated recommendations on the Today tab and filter apps by genres like productivity, entertainment, and adventure.
This online platform also functions as a search portal, allowing users to discover apps more efficiently. Previously, Apple offered individual app webpages, but their accessibility and searchability were limited without direct links.
