Cash App, the popular financial services platform, has introduced a series of new features, including an AI-powered chatbot designed to assist users with their financial queries. The chatbot, named Moneybot, offers insights into spending patterns, income, savings strategies, and investment options. Initially available to select users, Moneybot is set to roll out to a wider audience in the coming months.
Users can interact with Moneybot by asking questions like ‘Can you show me my monthly income, expenses, and spending patterns?’ to receive detailed reports on their accounts. Additionally, the chatbot provides recommendations for actions such as splitting bills, checking Bitcoin balances, and requesting funds from contacts.
Cash App, owned by Block (formerly Square), is further enhancing its platform by enabling users to discover businesses that accept Bitcoin payments through an integrated map feature. Customers can now easily make Bitcoin payments using USD without holding cryptocurrency, leveraging the Lightning Network for seamless transactions via QR codes.
The company also has plans to introduce stablecoin transactions for some users within the app, expanding the range of digital currency options available. In addition to these updates, Cash App is revamping its benefits program for customers, aiming to provide a more tailored financial experience.
