According to TechCrunch, Apple’s 2025 App Store rankings reveal a significant shift as OpenAI’s ChatGPT claims the title of the most downloaded app in the U.S. for the first time. ChatGPT, an AI-powered chatbot, has surpassed popular social networking apps like TikTok, WhatsApp, and Instagram to secure the top spot.
