IAI Smart, a tech company, has introduced a new line of small appliances and devices under the Emerson Smart brand that enable voice control in the home. These products, powered by IAI Smart’s SmartVoice technology, allow users to operate fans, heaters, smart plugs, and more solely through voice commands, without the need for Wi-Fi or smart home connections.
The key feature of these devices is the built-in microphone and speaker, which enable users to interact with the appliances using wake-up words. Jason Jiang, CEO of IAI Smart, emphasized the simplicity and privacy of this technology, stating, “Voice control should be effortless, and now it is. Personal information never leaves the home.”
The initial products featuring SmartVoice technology include Tower Fans in various sizes with multiple speed settings, Fan-Heaters offering efficient heating capabilities and safety features, and Electric Plugs with different configurations, including USB ports for added convenience.
This development marks a significant advancement in smart home technology, making voice control more accessible and user-friendly for consumers. As the industry continues to evolve, innovations like SmartVoice are shaping the future of home automation.
