Honor has unveiled its innovative ‘Robot Phone’ featuring a movable camera arm that can autonomously respond to various scenarios and even dance to music, adding a unique flair to smartphone technology. The Chinese company showcased this futuristic device ahead of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
The Robot Phone’s standout feature is its interactive ‘personality’ that enables the device to engage with users through head movements and respond to voice and text commands, creating a more dynamic user experience. Equipped with a 200-megapixel camera mounted on a robotic three-axis gimbal, the phone ensures smooth and high-quality photo and video capture, including advanced features like Super Steady mode and Spinshot functionality.
The robotic camera also enhances video calls by utilizing AI-powered object tracking for seamless motion tracking. Honor’s engineering efforts include developing a specialized micro motor to control the camera’s movements and incorporating foldable phone techniques to ensure durability and functionality.
During the unveiling event, Honor also introduced other cutting-edge products such as the Honor Magic V6 foldable phone, Honor MagicPad 4 tablet, and Honor MagicBook 14 laptop, showcasing the brand’s commitment to technological innovation across various devices.
