Lego, known for its successful partnership with Star Wars, is now expanding into the iconic space franchise of Star Trek. The company has unveiled its first Star Trek set, a 3,600-piece replica of the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D from Star Trek: The Next Generation. Priced at $399.99, this detailed model, measuring almost two feet long, will be available from Lego’s online and physical stores starting November 28th. Early buyers will also receive a bonus set featuring a Star Trek: Type-15 Shuttlepod.
The Enterprise NCC-1701-D set boasts a detachable command saucer, warp nacelles with red and blue detailing, a shuttlebay with miniature shuttlepods, and an angled display stand featuring spacecraft details such as its launch date and construction location.
Adding to the appeal of this set are nine Lego minifigures, each equipped with distinctive accessories from the TV series. The minifigures include Captain Jean-Luc Picard, Commander William Riker, Lieutenant Commander Data, Lieutenant Worf, Wesley Crusher, Counsellor Deanna Troi, bartender Guinan, Dr. Beverly Crusher, and Lieutenant Commander Geordi La Forge.
