Lenovo has showcased its latest innovation, the Legion Pro Rollable Concept, a gaming laptop featuring a rollable OLED display. The laptop can expand its screen horizontally, providing users with up to 24 inches of display space with a single key press.
The Legion Pro Rollable Concept can extend from a 16-inch base to a 21.5-inch ‘Tactical’ mode or a 24-inch ‘Arena’ mode, offering a unique and immersive gaming experience. Despite the unconventional design, the idea of a wider screen on a portable device is expected to appeal to gamers seeking enhanced visual immersion on the go.
Similar to Lenovo’s previous ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable OLED laptop, the Legion Pro Rollable Concept hides its full OLED screen until activated. Using dual motors, the laptop unrolls the screen in both directions simultaneously to achieve an ultrawide aspect ratio when fully expanded. With components like RTX 5090 graphics and the latest Intel processors, this laptop promises high-end performance within its innovative design.
Additionally, Lenovo introduced the ThinkPad Rollable XD Concept, a vertical screen expansion iteration, showcasing the company’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of display technology.
