Lenovo showcased a concept laptop, the ThinkBook Modular AI PC Concept, at MWC 2026. The 14-inch device features a modular design with the ability to attach a second 14-inch display to the rear of the lid, creating a unique dual-screen setup. Users can even replace the keyboard/trackpad deck with the second screen, transforming the device into a dual-screen laptop, similar to the Asus Zenbook Duo.
The modular aspect of the laptop is highlighted by the presence of two plug-and-play interchangeable ports, allowing for easy customization and flexibility. While not as extensive as Framework’s modular ecosystem, Lenovo’s approach offers simplicity and convenience in swapping out the ports, which utilize an M.2 interface for connection.
Both screens are touch-compatible OLED panels with impressive specifications, including 4K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 500 nits of brightness. The versatility of this setup opens up new possibilities for multitasking and productivity.
