OnePlus has officially launched its latest flagship, the OnePlus 15, in China, with a global release expected soon. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and boasts an impressive 165Hz refresh rate display, a significant upgrade from its predecessor. However, game support for such high refresh rates remains limited.
One standout feature of the OnePlus 15 is its substantial 7,300mAh battery, aligning with the trend of large battery capacities in Chinese flagship devices this year. It remains uncertain if the European and US variants will offer the same battery capacity.
In terms of imaging capabilities, the OnePlus 15 houses a triple 50-megapixel rear camera setup, including an enhanced periscope lens, alongside features like an IP69K durability rating and 120W wired charging. The device is priced at ¥3,999 (approximately $560) in China.
Accompanying the OnePlus 15 is the more budget-friendly Ace 6, expected to be marketed globally as the 15R. The Ace 6 features an even larger 7,800mAh battery but comes with a simpler dual rear camera system.
