Eduardo Cavazos, the injured worker, has filed a lawsuit against SpaceX and a contractor, alleging negligence in the incident.
The accident occurred while Cavazos was working on a concrete wall construction project at Starbase. A large metal support dislodged from a crane, leading to Cavazos sustaining significant injuries, including a broken hip, knee, and tibia. This incident marks the second crane-related accident at Starbase that OSHA is examining this year, highlighting concerns about safety measures at the facility.
