Sony has officially launched cloud streaming on the PlayStation Portal, following a successful beta testing phase. Premium Plus members can now access select titles from their PS5 library without the need for a physical console connection. The updated menu offers three main tabs for Remote Play from PS5, cloud streaming, and search functionalities.
At launch, Cloud Streaming on the PlayStation Portal supports thousands of PS5 games, including popular titles like Astro Bot, Borderlands 4, and Grand Theft Auto V. Members can also stream games from the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog and Classics Catalog, such as Cyberpunk 2077 and The Last of Us Part II Remastered.
During the beta phase, this feature was exclusive to PS Plus Premium subscribers. Alongside cloud streaming, the PS Portal has received updates like 3D audio support and a new passcode feature.
