Rivian has announced the pricing, color options, and performance specifications for its upcoming R2 SUV lineup. The R2 series will offer a more affordable electric vehicle option, with prices ranging from $45,000 to $57,990 across various trim levels.
The initial R2 Performance model with the Launch Package is priced at $57,990 and features an all-wheel-drive dual-motor setup, delivering up to 330 miles of EPA-estimated range. Rivian also plans to introduce a premium version at $53,990, as well as two standard versions with different battery ranges, starting at $48,490 and $45,000 respectively.
Rivian’s midsized SUVs are built on a new platform and utilize in-house developed motors. The company aims to maintain consistency in features across all trims, focusing on technological innovation and performance capabilities.
