Xiaomi has introduced the Xiaomi 17 Ultra smartphone, a flagship device featuring a collaboration with Leica. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra boasts a 50-megapixel main camera sensor and an impressive 200-megapixel telephoto camera, enabling optical zoom between 3.2x and 4.3x. Additionally, the device includes a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 6,000mAh battery (6,800mAh in the Chinese version) with support for 90W USB PD-PPS charging and 50W Hypercharge wireless technology.
The smartphone’s standout features include a 6.9-inch Xiaomi HyperRGB OLED display, Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, and Xiaomi’s Shield Glass 3.0 for display protection. To commemorate Leica’s 100th anniversary, Xiaomi is releasing a special Leica edition of the phone with unique design elements and Leica-themed software enhancements, such as a rotating ring for zoom control and a ‘Leica Essential mode’ with photo filters inspired by Leica cameras.
