Facebook, part of Meta, is introducing new features that leverage artificial intelligence to enhance user experiences. Users can now animate their profile pictures with preset animations like ‘natural, party hat, confetti, wave, and heart.’ Additional animation options will be rolled out over time.
For Stories and Memories, users can utilize the ‘Restyle’ button to make changes to their photos by either typing out specific alterations or selecting from predefined styles like ‘anime’ or ‘low-poly.’ Furthermore, users can add animated or static background styles to their text posts.
These new features aim to revitalize the platform’s cultural relevance and bring back the essence of the original Facebook experience. The platform continues to attract a massive user base, with over 2 billion daily active unique users.
