Samsung has announced that it will reveal its latest flagship smartphone lineup, the Galaxy S26 series, at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event on February 25 in San Francisco. Rumors suggest the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, with improvements in charging speed and camera hardware. The new models are expected to feature integrated artificial intelligence capabilities, possibly introducing new smart features. Notably, a built-in privacy screen that allows selective display blocking is anticipated. Despite minor hardware upgrades, potential price increases due to the ongoing RAM shortage are foreseen.
While the Galaxy S26 Edge will not be making an appearance following the underwhelming response to its predecessor, Samsung may introduce other products like a new pair of Galaxy Buds wireless earbuds. In a separate development, Fitbit’s AI-powered Personal Health Coach, previously available for Android users, is now accessible to iOS users with an active Fitbit Premium subscription. This move expands the reach of Fitbit’s health service, enhancing the user experience for iOS customers.
