Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang recently announced a significant projection at the company’s annual GTC Conference, stating that he expects orders worth $1 trillion for Nvidia’s Blackwell and Vera Rubin chips. This announcement highlights the substantial growth anticipated in the AI business sector.
During his keynote, Huang highlighted the impressive demand for the Blackwell and upcoming Rubin chips, with $500 billion in orders seen through 2026. He emphasized the remarkable performance of the Rubin architecture, which is expected to surpass the capabilities of the Blackwell design in AI-related tasks, operating significantly faster.
With the Rubin architecture promising enhanced speeds for model training and inference tasks, up to 50 petaflops, Nvidia anticipates scaling up production in the latter part of the year to meet the projected demand.
