DeleteMe, an online personal data removal service, has acquired Block Party, a social media security tool founded by Tracy Chou in 2018. Block Party was created to combat targeted harassment on platforms like Twitter, driven by Chou’s firsthand experiences.
Initially designed for Twitter, Block Party expanded to cover various social networks after securing a $4.8 million seed round in 2022. The acquisition by DeleteMe comes as a strategic move to enhance online safety and privacy measures for users across multiple platforms.
By integrating Block Party’s capabilities into DeleteMe’s services, users can now benefit from a unified approach to safeguarding their online presence and managing their digital footprint more effectively.
