Impacted products include CFexpress Type A, Type B, and SDXC/SDHC cards, with exceptions for certain Type B models and the low-end SF-UZ series.
This decision comes as Sony grapples with the challenge of semiconductor scarcity and other contributing factors that are expected to persist, leading to an inability to meet the rising demand for CFexpress and SD memory cards. To address this issue, Sony has opted to temporarily halt order acceptance from authorized dealers and customers through the Sony Store.
