Logitech announced in April 2026 a new suite of Productivity Plugins for its MX line of accessories, expanding the MX Creative Console beyond its original focus on creative applications to now include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Slack, and Notion.
The MX Creative Console, a Stream Deck alternative that launched in September 2024, had previously gained plug-in support for apps such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Lightroom, and Figma. The new productivity-focused plugins allow users to create dedicated buttons for common functions across the newly supported apps — such as replacing text in Word, inserting cells in Excel, switching Slack workspaces, or formatting to-do lists in Notion. The Productivity Plugins are available for free through the Logi Marketplace.
The expanded functionality also extends to other MX accessories. Shortcuts and actions for the supported apps can be accessed through Logitech’s Actions Ring menus, available on devices including the MX Master 4 mouse and the MX Mechanical Mini keyboard, via the Logi Options Plus app.
Alongside the plugin announcement, Logitech also updated its Easy Switch feature, which allows accessories to connect to and move between multiple computers. Previously, users had to press the Easy Switch button on each device individually. Now, through the Logi Options Plus app, pressing the button on an MX Keys S or MX Keys Mini keyboard can simultaneously switch an MX mouse and the MX Creative Dialpad as well — moving up to three devices with a single press. A firmware update is required for accessories using this feature, and Logitech says it plans to extend support to additional MX keyboards in the future.
For users who rely on both creative and productivity tools, the expanded plugin library may make the MX Creative Console a more versatile option for managing everyday workflows from a single device.
