Spotify announced in 2026 a partnership with Peloton that gives Premium subscribers access to more than 1,400 fitness classes, alongside a new Fitness hub featuring curated playlists and workout content from independent creators.
The new Fitness hub is available across Spotify’s mobile, desktop, and TV apps, with content that can move between platforms. According to a Spotify blog post, users can start a video workout on a TV, switch to audio on a phone for a run, and wind down with guided recovery on a smart speaker. Workout categories include outdoor runs, strength training, yoga, and meditation. Spotify notes that none of the workouts require specialized equipment — including Peloton’s own bike or treadmill.
In addition to the Peloton library, the hub features content from creators including Yoga with Kassandra, Sweaty Studio, Chloe Ting, and Pilates Body by Raven. Peloton content will be available only in select markets at launch and is primarily in English, with some options in Spanish and German.
The move extends Spotify’s expansion beyond music into adjacent content areas. The platform has previously added audiobooks, podcasts, and video, and had already offered customized running playlists before this broader fitness push. The addition of a dedicated Fitness hub may further expand the app’s scope, though it also adds to what the source describes as an already crowded application.
